Position and installation

In motorcycle shock absorbers, the oil seal is usually installed at the connection between the piston rod and the cylinder of the shock absorber. It is tightly wrapped around the piston rod to ensure that the shock absorber oil inside does not leak to the outside. The installation process requires precise operation. Generally, after the oil seal is placed in the appropriate position of the piston rod, it is pressed into the sealing groove of the shock absorber cylinder using a special tool to ensure that it is installed in place and well sealed.

Functional manifestation
