Description
Sterseal is a combination of a rubber O-ring and a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) ring. In addition, the O-ring helps the PTFE ring compensate for wear or deformation.
Sterseal is mainly used for the piston rod in the hydraulic cylinder, it is a one-way sealing thing, there are two types: one is used on the piston, the other is used on the piston rod. The advantage of Sterfeng is that the friction is very low, it is not easy to appear stuck, it is also very easy to start, and it can withstand high pressure. In addition, the Sterseal installation slot structure is very simple, easy to install.
The latest Sterseal model is called the 2K Sterseal, which is made up of a Tecon seal and an O-ring, which can be made of nitrile or fluoroprene rubber. Overall, the Sterseal is a very efficient sealing element, especially suitable for use in hydraulic systems.
